The head of the Council of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan, that the royal orders of reshaping ministries, agencies and modifying some of their titles, is a real translation that entered the kingdom vision 2030 into force, by its transition from declaration stage to action on the ground stage, calling it inclusive and its ability to push the national economy forward, pointing that it was introduced with a very careful search and care, and as an extension of the process of continuous development over the past periods, which affected the various economic and social sectors in the Kingdom.
Ataishan said that the vision of the Kingdom of 2030 is based on an ambitious strategy, aims to depend on investment as a major helper of the tributaries of economic development, so the reshaping and integration of sectors, particularly those working with each other, increasing the efficiency of performance and facilitate procedures and unify bodies to all either individuals or businessmen, with what ensures the continuity of local businesses in the market, as well as attracting more foreign direct investments, pointing of what the vision contained of great importance to the field of investment to become a prime funder of local gross in the coming years.
Ataishan explained that the reshaping beside strengthening the government sectors, it reflects positively on the development of the economy system and improve returns and also contributes in supporting the private sector and to facilitate its integration in the development process in the country.
He added that the modified name of the Ministry of Trade and Industry to be the Ministry of Trade and Investment, besides that it enables the ministry of starting and expanding in the fields of business development and investment, it allows itself to open up to new investment opportunities and gives a clearer path of those who want to invest in the Kingdom, pointing to what the Kingdom owns of strong investment opportunities in various business fields, believing that this new structure will reshape the investment opportunities in the Kingdom, and even presenting them on a healthy basis for investors.
Ataishan considered the integrate of the industry with Energy and Mineral Resources in the Ministry besides that it puts the industry in the right place, or the right environment, where are the Energy and Mineral Resources, it speeds also the start of the industrial activities in the near term, by reducing licensing procedures, referring to the mineral industry, which requires a license from the Ministry of trade and Industry, and another from the Ministry of Petroleum and mineral Resources to start a business.
